So many issues. one small gmae

I made The Light Within as my first game without a direct tutorial, this was my first challenge as a game developer. and you can probably tell as well, Because of this there's lots of spaghetti code and many bugs that i tried using as features which in the long run just wont do.

I was planning on fixing these issues until this one big issue came up... the player could not finish any level. i had no idea why this was happening and i still don't really know why. but i was actively trying to find the problem and make a solution so i could get back to making the game. however i never found the issue and now another issue has appeared

I cant open the editor files....

I've tried everything i can think of so far and i was about to say the game was cancelled until i checked in on the itch page to see someone had left a comment saying how they really enjoyed the levels i had. this made me instantly change my mind about cancelling the game and I'm back to finding a way to get my editor files open again.

I hope you all understand that this could take anywhere between 10 minutes and 10 months. I'm not sure where the problem is, what the problem is and because of that. how to fix the problem. but trust me, I'm doing my best to fix it and i want the game to be working again just as much as you
